I can not support a country like China, even though they are key in taking down the U.S. hegemony. This agreement looks like it will come to an end with the BRICS expansion and the possibility of a new currency (backed by gold among other possible assets) being implemented. So, if you are confronted with someone who is raidically sold on their beliefs (i.e. through cognitive dissonance and severe confirmation bias), how do you walk them into completely agreeing with something that they initially and strongly disagreed with by simply making statements that are essentially indisputable. For example: 1. do you like being told what to do? 2. do you like being controlled by others? 3. do you like being able to say what you want? 4. do you really believe that all humans are equal and have the right to freedom… This line of questioning would have to evolve or progress to a next level relevance based on the subject at hand (i.e. something you happen to be talking about in the moment). One of the biggest challenges in trying to get someone in line with your thinking is with the discussion about fake news or misinformation. Most ppl would argue that you are quoting bad sources and that their sources are much more credible than yours. A common example of this is when someone does a Google search on something or someone you are referrencing and immediately gets fact checking websites at the top of their search results. You need to come with creative ways to counter this. This is a huge challenge.

If you look at a map, you can see that Turkey, Syria Iraq, and possibly Iran (countries involved in possible peace talks with Russia facilitating and then, in the second story Armenia and Azerbaijan also now talking about peace again facilitated by Russia (Putin who architected the Minsk agreement) you can see that this covers a large geographic region to the south of Russia. ... and then throw China into the mix (remember the documents that China published on it’s views of U.S. hegemony…) Again, this is all very bad for Western hegemony agendas.

Why are these big news corporations investing so much in fact checking and misinformation to go after independent news sources? If they were so confident in their messaging and its accuracy they wouldn't give these other groups the time of day. But, they feel extremely threatened by them. Is it because independent sources are more honest and perhaps more truthful which, in turn, undermines the messaging of large media outlets? They’ve almost revealed their hand (re: their own misinformation) by clamping so hard and so fast against independent media. She is probably hitting the nail right on the head. Another excellent point: There is NO ABSOLUTE TRUTH. The best thing to do is to at least challenge the narrative by pointing out flaws or inaccuracies. Don’t try to push your views as the absolute truth. I think I do a good job of this throughout the Truther’s Portal.
